September 9, 2020:

To the community of Bronte ISD,

The Administration was notified this afternoon, Sept 9, 2020, that there is a positive COVID-19 student case in the grade span of 9-12. Due to the diligence and hard work of our staff and our students at continuing to follow the recommendations and mandated guidelines, we do not feel, in consultation with the Texas Department of Health Services, that any further action is required. We will be monitoring the situation closely and continuing our cleaning and preventative measures to ensure the continued opportunity for face to face instruction at all grade levels. We ask you to please continue to follow all recommendations of the CDC and the DSHS as we continue our journey through this pandemic, and we ask you to pray for the healthy return and continued health of all of our students. Thank you.

A DISTRICT OF INNOVATION

Bronte ISD must prepare students to be lifelong learners with a balanced and uniform curriculum based on state and locally adopted courses of study. We want to assure, for every student, the opportunity to acquire the knowledge of citizenship and economic responsibilities necessary to continue and promote our American heritage. While providing a sound foundation of basic skills, we will also endeavor to enrich each student's mind so they will be able to think and communicate logically, independently, and creatively.

Bronte ISD is a District of Innovation. Please take a look at the plan here.
