To the parents and community of Bronte ISD,
We have been notified that a district level staff member tested positive for COVID-19 this morning. We are working through contact tracing and the Principals will notify you if your child has been in close contact the individual. Please monitor your children for symptoms and please do not hesitate to call your child’s campus office if you have any questions.

The administration was informed of a positive case at the High School today: we are currently conducting contact tracing to determine any instances of close contact. If your child has been in close contact, Mr. Kuhlmann will contact you. Please monitor your children for symptoms, keep them home if they are sick and please report to campus office if your student tests positive for Covid-19.

The administration was notified yesterday afternoon that a teacher in the secondary campus and a teacher in the elementary campus tested positive for COVID-19. If your child came into close contact with any of the individuals you will be contacted by your campus principal. To the community of Bronte ISD,
The Administration was notified this afternoon, Sept 9, 2020, that there is a positive COVID-19 student case in the grade span of 9-12. Due to the diligence and hard work of our staff and our students at continuing to follow the recommendations and mandated guidelines, we do not feel, in consultation with the Texas Department of Health Services, that any further action is required. We will be monitoring the situation closely and continuing our cleaning and preventative measures to ensure the continued opportunity for face to face instruction at all grade levels. We ask you to please continue to follow all recommendations of the CDC and the DSHS as we continue our journey through this pandemic, and we ask you to pray for the healthy return and continued health of all of our students.
